However, the true skill in his work is being able to immediately and efficiently fix whatever electrical issue is at play, thanks to his 30 years as an electrician. Lou has vast experience in commercial, industrial and domestic settings. He’s also an expert in motor control (now that is showing his age!).
25 Years and he's got a secret
Even as a schoolboy, Lou was a bright spark when it came to electrics. “It came very naturaly to me” he says.
Lou started his electrical apprenticeship at age 16 and hasn’t looked back. He’s now a fully licensed A-Grade electrical Contractor. Some of Lou’s Clients have been with him for 25 years.
So what’s his secret? His answer is simple: “I always do the right thing. I’m always honest. It was a very old switchboard, but it was still in good condition,” Lou says. Perhaps that’s why so many of Lou’s clients have become friends.
It's all about helping others
That’s why, when Lou recently conducted a thermal scan of a 30 year old switchboard, he recommened a few simple upgrades to get it up to standard, even though he could have easily sold the client a whole new system.
